Part streetwear, part avant-garde, he claims that his go-to item for making a statement is a pair of boots. “I am completely obsessed with the new Gucci boots from Fall/Winter ‘17 collection. I am naturally drawn to boots. However, this particular pair from Gucci suits my style perfectly,” says Lei. “They are comfortable to wear and I can mix-and-match for any occasion, whether it’s [for] an afternoon coffee session with friends or an event.”

This 27-year-old Malaysian often adds a masculine touch to her feminine ensembles. "I love vintage pieces that never goes out of fashion," says Yan. "Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele is a genius, no doubt. The new Gucci he's presenting is so effortlessly glorious, yet luxurious with an eclectic, retro edge."

Cherrie Mun

Unlike her sister Yan, Mun doesn’t really like sticking to a single style, and she’s always seen in something striking — be it in the colours or the details of her outfit. Here, Mun is wearing a Gucci top, S$2,590, skirt, S$2,680, and pumps, S$1,750.

“The GG Marmont matelassé leather belt bag is calling my name!” says Mun. “Gucci reinvented the fanny pack and makes [it] cool and relevant again. It works so well on a boldly printed dress... as well as [with a] casual, sporty outfit, keeping my outfits simple, yet chic.” Gucci belt bag, S$2,190.

Suboi

Carving a name for herself as a female rapper in Vietnam is no easy task. Suboi, however, is well on her way to the top, clinching a position in the sports and entertainment category of the 30 Under 30 Asia list by “Forbes”. Here, she's in a Gucci dress, S$3,570, ring, price on request, and bag, S$2,560.

Vietnam’s queen of rap is also known for her penchant for fashion, which she claims is “heavily influenced by rap culture”. Says the 27-year-old from Ho Chi Minh City, “There are no limits to what we can do with fashion, and Gucci has proved it.

The brand now communicates their messages through art. I love how the fashion house recruited an army of young, talented artists... [who are] transmitting the new aesthetics with their own interpretation.”
