Take a stroll about town and you'll realise that almost every jewellery house has a cuff or two in store. They're subtly beautiful – a thin strip of metal dancing around the wrist. It's an easy, effortless way to complete an outfit. Here, T rounds up four of the most elegant cuffs available in Singapore.

Fleur de Lis

Tiffany & Co's newest launch in town, the Fleur de Lis wire cuff in 18k rose gold with diamonds.

Look forward to Tiffany & Co's upcoming launch in September 2017. Here, Tiffany's classic key motif is reshaped into the French symbol for royalty – otherwise known as the 'Fleur de Lis' (Flower of the Lilies). The cuff comes in white, yellow and rose gold. Its ends are punctuated with two Fleur de Lis symbols. Every key is meticulously encrusted with approximately 37 brilliant-cut diamonds. All the diamonds are fully embedded into the key's structure. No undue worries about the precious diamonds coming loose, we're thinking this is a cuff suitable for everyday wear.

Fleur de Lis will be available in all Tiffany & Co stores from September, at S$5,400.

Possession

The 140-year-old Swiss watchmaker Piaget launched their Possession jewellery collection earlier this year in March. Possession's 18k pink gold body is slightly thicker compared to the other brands' thinly-pulled wire frames and definitely feels much more robust. Two perfectly spherical and polished gemstones sit at the ends, enveloped by 30 brilliant-cut 0.38 carat diamonds. There are six coloured gems for you to choose from – blue Lapis Lazuli, Black Onyx, Red Carnelian, Teal Turquoise, and green Malachite.

This is perhaps a collection perfect for those who swear by the healing prowess of natural gemstones. Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise are known for their ability to invoke clarity of speech, while Onyx helps its wearers feel grounded. In the midst of a transition in life? Carnelian and Malachite are for you.

Piaget's Possession cuff in 18k pink gold with Lapis Lazuli is available at S$9,000; 18k pink gold with red Carnelian is available at S$7,750 in stores.

Chopardissimo

We're revisiting one of Chopard's classic collections here. Chopardissimo has been around for a couple of years now and boasts a full spectrum of jewellery pieces. The gist of Chopardissimo is summarised by Caroline Scheufele, artistic director and Co-President of Chopard. She said, "In jewellery-making, it's often the simplest things that are actually the most complex to create."

The 18k white and rose gold cuffs are sculpturally perfect. An elegant curvature is synchronised with the wearers' wrists. Beautiful strokes are carved into the cuff, in which 58 0.37 carat diamonds nestle.

Chopardissimo white and rose gold cuffs with diamonds are available in stores at S$9,860.

Gucci's latest fine jewellery collection draws from the fantastical beasts which has been a mainstay of the fashion house under Alessandro Michele's guidance.

Under creative director Alessandro Michele's tutelage, Gucci has unveiled a new chapter of the brand's story. The leading characters of the ongoing narrative are some whimsical beasts – which the fashion house has released a collection of fine jewellery in their likeness. What caught our attention were these two simple cuffs accompanying the collection. They come in 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, and the ends are punctuated with the double 'GG' logo. It's an easy way to participate in the trending conversation without going full-on Renaissance, Gucci style.

Le Marché des Merveilles cuffs in yellow gold and sterling silver are available in stores at S$2,610.
