A cylindrical brass case set on a block of molten Swedish Barium Crystal by New York lighting design studio, Apparatus. The entire object measures 12 cm in height and 21.6 cm wide. A four-compartment resin stationery container by Australian industrial designer label, Daniel Emma. The clear plastic spheres act as lids for the container, while magnifying the contents within. Available online at daniel-emma-store.com for AUD$99 (approximately S$100).

Mini Container

The wood container was designed by Australian industry label, Daniel Emma, and carried by the four-year-old New York manufacturer, Good Thing. It is essentially a desk container for jewellery or loose stationery. Available online at supergoodthing.com for US$14 (approximately S$18).


A globe-shaped glass vase set on a polished brass base. It comes in four colours —black, green, blue, and pink — and three sizes. The vase was designed by Danish home interiors brand AYTM. Find it online at aytm.dk.


A leather mini box attached to a string of wooden beads, by seven-year-old Los Angeles-based design studio, Building Block. The cube measures 5 x 5 x 5 cm, and opens and closes to a hidden magnetic closure. Available online at building--block.com for US$380 (approximately S$496).
