Chaumet has long celebrated French royalties, Empress Joséphine and Emperor Napoleon, with its exquisite offerings. For close to 240 years, jewellery pieces of the Maison have often tipped their hats to the past, embracing and tapering down opulent codes into modern creations that befit the modern women. Take, for instance, the “Joséphine” collection which pays homage to the French empress’s various facades of elegance with a myriad of jewellery designs, while the “Bee My Love” collection remembers the reign of Napoleon I with the signature bee motif.
Marking a defining moment in the house’s history, Chaumet lends its flair for elegance into new additions, consisting rings, wedding bands and bracelets, of the Liens Évidence collection, which expands beyond the women market to include their male counterparts. Retaining the Liens Évidence collection’s signature simplistic yet arresting flair, the Liens Évidence bracelets are now available in larger versions. While its single row rings also received a playful splash of colour, featuring red, green or blue lacquer that juxtaposes against the elegant white and pink gold body.
The Liens Évidence bracelets are now available in, as the brand describes them, “larger, more masculine versions”.

In recent times, the shifting notion of jewellery from being an effeminate object (and hence unbefitting men) to an object of self-expression has since bore witness to more men wearing jewellery. Mr Porter, which used to proffer pieces from fast-fashion houses, has since expanded its men jewellery selection to include fine jewellery into its ranks to cater to the demand.
The iconic Chaumet Liens collection goes beyond to reinterpret the ties between two people with its multifaceted incarnations — the Liens d’Armour, which stirs up intense emotions of romance through its solitaire style rings and vibrant gemstones; the Jeux de Liens, which spreads happiness with its fluid curvatures and colourful hard stones; and the Liens Séduction, which encapsulates the frisson of love with ribbon motifs.
The Liens Évidence, aims to capture the purity of love with its arresting yet simple design. Symbolic and all-encompassing, the new additions to the range mirrors the age-old maxim that most relationships blossom and enrich over time. They are still imbued with the same elegance and timelessness of the house’s other signatures. This time crafted with inclusivity in mind, they are meant to be worn as complements to Chaumet’s other offerings and appealing towards both genders.
