Chanel recreated a summertime beach at their usual runway camp, the Grand Palais in Paris.
Show-goers watched on as models strutted down the beach.
There were sand-coloured tweed boucle jackets and skirts.
Models went without shoes. Instead, holding them in their hands.
Some hung their shoes on the new cross body side packs.
Some wore bathing suits.
Others wore sundresses.
Then there were those who stuck to their beloved denims.
And those with all-black wardrobes turned up too.
Despite their sartorial differences, all of these women at the beach were united by one common love: fringed straw hats.
They, too, shared a love for layering jewellery pieces.
The arms were busy — bangles were stacked upon each other.
There were gloves with zipped pouches, single-chained bags and double-strapped handbags.
The very same bag comes in a transparent body too.
There were huge bags: a large black and white beach tote and a terrycloth tote.
And a large white denim embroidered tote.
But there were small straw wicker camera cases too.
And seashell minaudières in black and white.
Most exciting of all is perhaps the beach ball minaudière.
Here is a closer look at this beach ball minaudière: there is a buckle at the top and it opens in the middle.
The beach ball minaudière comes in not only black and white, but other colours too.
