The quintessential American fashion label, Calvin Klein, announced yesterday that the 37-year-old Kim Kardashian West, along with her siblings, namely Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner will be fronting the brand's sibling labels, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Jeans' Fall 2018 global campaigns.
The series of monotone images were shot in Thousand Oaks city, in California by the celebrated 47-year-old Belgian photographer, Willy Vanderperre. Vanderperre and Raf Simons, current Chief Creative Officer of the Calvin Klein umbrella reportedly met in the mid-'90s through a circle of friends including the latter's previous girlfriend, Veronique Branquinho, in the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Since then, the photographer has lent his eye for Simons' eponymous label, his tenure at Jil Sander and a collaboration for Fred Perry. Later, he continued as Simons helmed Christian Dior, and now, Calvin Klein.
Accompanying the set of images is a video by Brooklyn-based cinematographer, Shane Sigler.
