Known for its leather craftsmanship and handbags that have achieved cult status in recent years, the 174-year-old Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe unveils the Flamenco clutch — a fresh adaptation of one of its iconic styles of the same name that was first launched in the 1970s. The clutch, re-released as part of the Fall/Winter ’20 collection, is revived in an understated, elegant silhouette rendered in various versatile models apt for daily wear.
Crafted with buttery calfskin leather at Loewe’s historic Madrid workshop, its pillowy appearance easily moulds into the contours under the crook of the arm, and is convertible into a shoulder bag via a detachable strap. The drawstring tie features the house’s signature coiled knots — a talismanic stamp first introduced by creative director Jonathan Anderson in his debut collection. The clutch boasts ample space for quotidian essentials, and is available in seven rustic colourways, presenting a classic piece made from time-tested artistry, interpreted for the contemporary wearer on the go.
