When Italian luxury house Gucci announced the debut of its homeware line last year, fashion aficionados across the globe rejoiced. The collection of eclectic furnishings, which run the gamut from throw pillows to mugs and foldable tables extends the same maximalist, vintage-influenced aesthetic of its runway collections. In the same vein as the Italian house’s offerings thus far, every Gucci Décor piece is an unwavering commitment to craft and a display of artisanal skill. House slogans and patterns that have, under Alessandro Michele’s helm, risen to status as identifiable emblems show their head, at times literally, on the house’s bric-a-brac and larger furniture items. A year shy of its debut, the collection, previously only available for purchase online, has hit the shelves of its stores in Singapore. Here, a masterfully crafted chair in a pop of red that bears a striking resemblance to the seats at the house’s Spring/Summer ’16 menswear collection.
Gucci Décor Chiavari chair, $4,120.
